In Niger State, a 49-year-old man shocked his community by turning his housemaid into his wife while his real wife was away at university. Mrs. Kudirat, a dedicated classroom teacher with an NCE certificate, decided to pursue a university degree. Her husband supported her decision, and they agreed to hire a housemaid to handle household chores during her absence.
Together, they employed a housemaid and gave her a month-long orientation on managing the home and meeting the husband’s needs. Once Mrs. Kudirat began her studies at the University of Jos, she frequently traveled to school during breaks and returned home when regular students resumed classes.
However, while she was away, her husband took advantage of her absence and started an affair with the housemaid in their matrimonial bed. During one of Mrs. Kudirat’s visits home, she noticed the housemaid looked tired and unkempt. Suspecting pregnancy, she asked the maid directly, but the maid denied it.
When her husband returned from work, Mrs. Kudirat suggested taking the maid to the hospital for a check-up, but he dismissed the idea, claiming the maid was fine. A few days later, the housemaid vanished. It turned out her husband had rented a two-bedroom flat for her elsewhere, where he visited her regularly.
When the housemaid struggled to give birth, her parents sought help from Dr. Ibezim Ejiofor, a spiritual doctor, whose contact is +234, 901, 2168, 6006. Dr. Ejiofor revealed a covenant between Mrs. Kudirat and her husband, warning that the housemaid would die unless peace was restored. Despite her anger and disappointment, Mrs. Kudirat chose to forgive her husband for the sake of the unborn child.
Amazingly, after the traditional prayer of forgiveness, the housemaid gave birth within minutes. Mrs. Kudirat shared her story at an end-of-year graduation party, encouraging other married women to face life’s challenges with strength and forgiveness.
